These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through Oak & Ink.

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory rights you have under applicable Belgian or European consumer law.

Seller Information

Products

We aim to provide accurate descriptions and photographs of our books.

Minor differences in colour or appearance may occur depending on the device or screen used to view the website.

Where a particular book has specific condition information, this will be stated in the relevant product description.

Prices

Prices displayed on the website are shown in euros (€).

Applicable delivery charges are displayed during checkout before the customer completes the order.

The final total payable will be shown before the order is confirmed.

Availability

Products are subject to availability.

Many Oak & Ink titles may have limited stock.

Adding an item to your basket does not necessarily reserve it until checkout has been successfully completed.

If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed and we cannot fulfil the order, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund where applicable.

Orders

Submitting an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases of:

• An obvious pricing or product information error
• Suspected fraud
• Payment failure
• Product unavailability
• An inability to deliver the order

Where payment has already been collected for an order that we cancel, the appropriate amount will be refunded.

Payment

Payments are processed through the payment methods made available during checkout.

Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be fulfilled.

Shipping

Orders are normally prepared for dispatch within 1–2 business days.

Shipping within Belgium starts from €7.10 and is calculated during checkout based on shipment weight.

Local Pickup

Free local pickup is available in Wilrijk, Antwerp.

Customers selecting pickup should wait until they receive confirmation that their order is ready before collecting it.

Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Consumers purchasing online generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.

Further information about exercising this right, returning goods and receiving refunds is provided in our Refund & Returns Policy.

For ordinary change-of-mind returns or statutory withdrawals, the customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods where permitted by applicable law and where the customer has been properly informed of this obligation.

Defective or Incorrect Goods

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights regarding defective, damaged, incorrect or otherwise non-conforming goods.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

Oak & Ink is not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject always to mandatory consumer rights.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version applicable to your purchase will be the version made available to you when the order is placed.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Belgian law, without depriving consumers of any mandatory protections available to them under applicable law.
