At Oak & Ink, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to purchases made through oakandink.co.

Seller

14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer purchasing online, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving a reason.

The withdrawal period begins on the day after you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please inform us clearly of your decision within the 14-day period by emailing: theoakandink@gmail.com

Please include your name, order number and the item(s) you wish to return.

After informing us of your decision to withdraw, you must return the item(s) within 14 days.

Return Condition

You may inspect the book as you reasonably would in a physical shop.

Please handle returned books carefully. We strongly recommend returning them in their original packaging where possible.

You may be responsible for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the product.

Return Shipping Costs

For returns made because you changed your mind or exercised your statutory right of withdrawal, the direct cost of returning the item is the responsibility of the customer.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service. Oak & Ink cannot be responsible for a return parcel that does not reach us.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive an item different from the one ordered, please contact us as soon as possible at: theoakandink@gmail.com

Please include your order number and, where appropriate, photographs showing the problem.

Your statutory consumer rights in relation to defective or non-conforming goods are not affected by this policy.

Where Oak & Ink is legally responsible for a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, you will not be required to bear costs that should legally be borne by the seller.

Refunds

Where a valid withdrawal is exercised, we will refund payments that must be reimbursed under applicable consumer law, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method where legally required.

If you selected a more expensive delivery option than our standard delivery method, the additional delivery cost is not refundable to the extent permitted by law.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed.

Bank or payment-provider processing times may affect when the refunded amount appears in your account.
